School Profile

Escondido Christian School and Preschool offer a full range of educational services from preschool through eighth grade in modern, well-equipped facilities. Escondido Christian School was established in 1948 and is a ministry of Escondido Christian Center. Escondido Christian Preschool was established in 1976 to augment the elementary and middle school programs. Both schools are nonprofit, depending entirely upon tuition and donations, and they are interdenominational in spirit, serving all of the Escondido community and the surrounding area. ECS and ECP are racially nondiscriminatory in all aspects and are fully accredited members of the Association of Christian Schools International.
Faith and religious experience are vital parts of education. Bible class is definitely not the only class which teaches about God. Every class is taught in a way to allow the student not only to master the subject, but also to see how this knowledge relates to spiritual realities and to God's plan for each individual. Education at ECS produces SAT scores far above the average in California. Graduates from ECS choose careers such as doctors, lawyers, and vocations in ministry.
